This summer, students worked for the first time on creating their own original music using Garage Band. With a few set parameters, students were set loose to create bass lines, add chords and melody, choose percussion sounds and pick instruments to feature. The result was amazing!

Some used the keyboard midi interface for all the sounds while a few recorded the drum set live with midi for the rest. Students were able to experiment with several entry methods and decide on the best results for editing and sound.
